As an individual consumer, I consistently research purchases extensively before making them. I don’t typically watch advertisements, so I am less influenced by them overall and rely on reviews instead. I am also guilty of wanting immediate gratification from purchases. If I make an online purchase, I am greatly influenced by how quickly I can receive it, which adds to my “customer delight.” Regarding disposal activities, I try to recycle and avoid using plastic bags. I also resell older items online and donate regularly to charitable organizations.
My buying habits are usually very consistent and predictable. I make the decision to purchase during the research phase and have an emotional response attached to how quickly I can use the product or service once I have made a purchase.
